This documentation applies to the following versions of Splunk: 4.0.1 , 4.0.2 , 4.0.3 , 4.0.4 , 4.0.5 , 4.0.6 , 4.0.7 , 4.0.8 , 4.0.9 , 4.0.10

The following issues have been addressed in this version of Splunk:

A valid email address was erroneously configured as the recipient affecting 2 scheduled search alerts in the *Nix App that shipped with version 4.0. This configuration has been corrected in 4.0.1. (SPL-25340)
The splunk-forwarder.license has been updated to the correct version and will now function in 4.0.1 and subsequent versions. (SPL-25339)
