Resolved issues from 3.1.2

  • Dashboards now function correctly in distributed search.
  • Saved searches now trigger alerts correctly.
  • The default value for the From: address for saved searches has changed from splunk@splunkalerts.com to splunk@localhost because some systems were not able to handle the nonexistent domain in the original value.
  • Host names on the distributed tab should now be displayed in alphabetical order.
  • Number of events returned by a search now updates and is displayed correctly.
  • XML characters (such as single and double-quotes, <,>, and &) in the names of eventtypes are now automatically stripped out.
